Their duties include adjusting, trimming, fitting parts, inspecting wood, ensuring quality standards, handling material orders, placing orders on pallets, and using equipment such as screwdrivers, drawer machines, and staple guns. Successful candidates showcase in their resumes furniture assemble experience, resilience, stamina, attention to details, teamwork, and safety measures knowledge. Based on our selection of resume samples, most Furniture Assemblers hold a high school diploma and are provided on-the-job training.
Set up and operated production equipment in safe, clean and presentable manner.
- Fit, installed, and secured material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and staples.
- Examined furniture frames, upholstery, springs, and webbing to locate defects.
- Maintained and documented above average piece rate throughout entire shift on a daily basis.
- Observed and followed all safety and health regulations.
